With the reduced number of aircraft landing and taking off due to COVID-19 we had a rare opportunity to fly our drone and film with our CAA PfCO (Civil Aviation Authority – Permission for commercial operations) at London Luton Airport in between aircraft movements around the stands and the runway.

The video captures the effect the coronavirus has had on the aviation industry in Britain where travelling abroad has been virtually non-existent.

We’ve filmed lots of training and education videos at Luton over the past 3 years and it was very eerie to see all the aircraft grounded, with companies such as Ryanair, easyJet, Wizz Air and TUI all seeing a significant drop in customers.
