One of the best-known prizes for visual arts in the world, Turner Prize 2019 came to Turner Contemporary art gallery in Margate.
Four of the most exciting artists working of today were shortlisted to win the prize based on an outstanding exhibition that has taken place in the previous year. 2019’s finalists include Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Helen Cammock, Oscar Murillo and Tai Shani.
We filmed short documentaries of the four nominees in the summer of 2019 at Turner Contemporary and their studios in London.
The four films were screened alongside the exhibition from 28th September 2019 to 12th January 2020.
Since working on this project we’re now working with Oscar Murillo on various film projects.
